THE WEEKEND COOL DOWN
Two new USATF National 50k Road Champions were crowned this past weekend in New York. Andrea Pomaranski pulled out front and stayed out front of the competition on the 10-loop course through Heckscher State Park, finishing in 3 hours, 7 minutes (📸: 1). On the men's side, Kallin Khan surged late in the race to take the win in 2:52 (📸: 2).
Jeff Browning won his third race of the year at the Mesquite Canyon 50-miler (📸: 3), while Deserae Clark won the women’s race.
Julie and Simon Freeman have decided to do the hard thing. In this age of quick-hit media, they have been creating a beautiful print magazine about the sport they love. Their stories live in the physical space, but we thought we'd help them bring a select few to the online world and our readers here at UltraSignup. So, we've partnered with them to publish a selection of their best work.
