Are Women "Made" for Ultrarunning?

Lots of lingering snow on the Hardrock Hundred Mile Endurance Run course has Arlen Glick practicing his glissading (📸: 1).

Are women "made" for ultrarunning? Camille Herron thinks so (📸: 2). "We’re breaking men’s records," she told Runner's World. "More women need to know that. We are made to endure."

The Cirque Series of races kicked off their year at Snowbird in Utah. Nearly nine miles and 3,566 feet of elevation gain later and race winner Christian Allen (📸: 3) was $1,000 richer. Janelle Lincks won the women's race.
